Take a look inside Toneshed Recording Studio. The studio has a separate live- and control room. The live room is big enough to house a huge rock drumkit.
The drummer has a dedicated and personalised monitor mix on headphones during tracking.
During full band tracking the other musicians can stay in the control room, each having their own dedicated monitor mix on headphones.
Control room
The control room is equipped with a large Argosy 90-V2R-1000 workstation desk including the Digidesign Control | 24 mixing desk / DAW controller. On the sides there are several 19″ hardware modules used during the tracking stage.
In the back there is room for several musicians on an elevated platform so that there is direct line of sight with the main control room speakers.
To survive heavy studio days there is a Nespresso machine and free coffee.

Nowadays
56 tracks can be recorded at once using the Pro-Tools HD/Ultimate based DAW with 2x RME Fireface 800 interfaces and Control24 mixing console. The studio inventory has been growing ever since:
